Judith is retired and a Professor Emerita in the department of Speech, Hearing and Rehabilitation Services at Minnesota State University, Mankato. She is an ASHA Fellow, CCC-SLP (ASHA Certification in Clinical Competence) and BCSF-R (Board Certified Specialist in Fluency retired). Judith created and maintains the Stuttering Home Pagehttp://www.stutteringhomepage.com – the first online resource about stuttering and other fluency disorders for professionals/students and consumers (adults/children who stutter). She has given presentations about resources for the treatment of communication disorders in North America, Europe, Israel, Korea, and China and has had two Fulbright Specialist opportunities in Bulgaria and China. Judy initiated (with the support of Michael Sugarman), organized and chaired the annual online ISAD stuttering conference from 1998-2012. ISAD conferences continue, sponsored by the ISA on a yearly basis the three weeks before International Stuttering Awareness Day (October 22). This conference was designed to share information about stuttering from around the world including information, research and treatment of fluency disorders as well as articles by people who stutter. She has published many articles focused on speech-language pathology.
